Pepakura Modeling

Pepakura is a software tool that makes it easier to make foldout models out of 3d creation software models. Ofcourse this software is from Japan (free to play with, $35 to use fully). There’s some beautiful examples online. Sculptors are trying out computer generated 3d models and then want to bring their onscreen designs back to the real world. Painted Cardboard Houses Japan

The cardboard dwellings of homeless people in the Shinjuku Station in Tokyo were a 1990s phenomenon.
